Sara Denman
After a four year absence, Sara is blissfully happy and grateful to be returning to her heartfelt love and passion of sharing yoga with others. During this absence, she birthed two more babies, (a total of five kids!) and suffered the loss of her dear and precious mother.
Sara has over 10 years of experience in teaching, guiding, instructing and most of all learning the art of yoga. Her journey began in 1999 when she chose to enter the fitness field by becoming a fitness instructor and personal trainer. After receiving her Group Fitness Certification from AFAA and following up with her Personal Training Certificate from the former NDEITA. Sara began her first job instructing at a small, private owned fitness studio. The owner operator began to encourage Sara to start teaching the yoga class that was being offered. Sadly, her arrogance and prejudice had full reign as she snidely informed her boss that she didn’t go through all her training just to teach a stretch class!!
Thank goodness the owner was not deterred but became even more convinced that it should at least be tried. Sara agreed at last to cover the class for the owner while she was out of town-but only as a favor to her. Sara came to the first “practice session” to help prepare her for teaching. She fell deeply in love and has never looked back. She began passionately seeking out all information, books, knowledge, and traveling to far corners to seek out training.
Sara attended the next available training, which was offered by YogaFit. She then began sampling the various styles of yoga and has come to love and respect all branches and styles of yoga. She took her passion for yoga to the various gyms and fitness clubs in the Newnan area, as well as, in Atlanta, until difficulties in a pregnancy forced her to take time off.
We are so delighted to have Sara back. Her upbeat and ‘sunshine’ disposition always creates a warm , loving and accepting atmosphere in her classes. Welcome back Sara!
